Projects of the CRONIMET Charity Foundation
Providing local assistance worldwide
CRONIMET Charity Foundation aims to improve the lives of people in need, especially children and young people, worldwide. As the name implies, the foundation serves entirely charitable causes.
However, the activities of the CRONIMET Charity Foundation go well beyond simple charity. In fact, its basic mission is to cultivate an environment where people can develop independently and innovative ideas can flourish. Supporting science, research and education is therefore a central part of its work.
In Armenia the Foundation played a key role in the renovation of a ruined school building in the village of Shahumyan, in Armavir. Particular emphasis was placed on designing the rooms to facilitate more effective learning processes.
As well as supporting numerous other projects, the CRONIMET Charity Foundation has enabled 277 children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to spend eight days attending the World Visions Christian Summer Camps in Armenia. Many of the participants had never left their villages in the Chambarak region before, so they were all the more eager to join in the exciting activities and to meet other children Equally, there was an emphasis on helping the participants gain new knowledge and life skills.
